Hlohovec is located in the heart of Lednice-Valtice area. One of the most valuable historical and cultural wealth of the Czech Republic. For centuries it was built by the Liechtenstein family, one of the oldest and richest Austrian families. This landscape has an area of 283.09 square kilometers, which is one of the largest man-modeled areas in Europe. It is impressive mosaic of parks, gardens, ponds, rivers and forests full of statues, mansions, cathedrals, chapels and colonnades. In 1996 it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
